In what cases is a lawyer recommended?
The CORPIQ advisory service answers common rental management questions. However, some situations require more formal legal expertise or representation.
Representation before the TAL
Complete file preparation, tailored support, and representation at the hearing.
Complex cases
Major disputes, contested repossession or eviction, specific recourses.
Legal opinion
In-depth analysis of a situation that may require a legal opinion — obtained through a phone consultation or, if needed, formalized through a written opinion drafted by a lawyer.
Is the legal referral service included in membership?
The referral service is offered to members. Jurists' fees are billed directly by the firm. However, members may benefit from exclusive consultations and/or preferred rates depending on the firm.
Can I choose my lawyer?
CORPIQ proposes partner firms, but members remain free to consult the professional of their choice.
Should I contact the advisory service first?
It is recommended to first contact one of our advisors to assess the situation and determine whether a referral is needed.
