The organizations speak with one voice of a perfect storm considering that affordability and availability are being challenged by the lack of land, supply problems, regulations and of course, the shortage of labour.
This debate will allow the main political parties to express their views on these issues and to present their solutions to meet the challenges facing the housing sector, to resolve the housing deficit in all regions of Quebec. To date, all political parties represented at the National Assembly have confirmed their presence.
Will be present:
- Maxime Larochelle, candidate in Laurier-Dorion for the Parti québécois
- André Lamontagne, candidate in Johnson for the Coalition avenir Québec
- Marie-Claude Nichols, candidate in Vaudreuil for the Quebec Liberal Party
- Martin Bécotte, candidate in Châteauguay for Québec solidaire
- Carmel-Antoine Bessard, candidate in Bourassa-Sauvé for the Conservative Party of Quebec
The debate will take place on September 13 between 7:30 and 9:30 a.m. at the Centre Mont-Royal in Montreal during a breakfast session and will be moderated by journalist Mathieu Dion, Bloomberg's Montreal Bureau Chief.
